The proven WERZALIT wood-based material is used in our façade profiles, window sills and table tops. A patented manufacturing process combines the natural properties of wood with the resistance of high-quality resins. In the direct process, the highly compressed chipboard core is coated with a durable decor.
WERZALIT window sills are compliant with the European Regulation (EU) 1907/2006 (REACH) on hazardous substances and the European Regulation (EU) 528/2012 on biocides. The wood used is PEFC certified and comes exclusively from sustainably managed forests in Germany.
The decorative colors of WERZALIT window sills do not correspond exactly to the RAL color sample.

Interior window sills from WERZALIT are particularly robust and resistant to scratches, moisture and UV radiation. They are easy to clean and easy to care for, so they look like new for years to come. WERZALIT interior window sills are available in many different colors and surface textures to perfectly complement your interior right up to the window opening.
Interior window sills can be placed in the mortar bed with special wall claws or attached directly to the window with mounting brackets . The projection of the window sill should be 30 to 40 mm and can be ensured with window sill brackets for larger dimensions.
Before installation, the substrate should be clean and dry to ensure optimum adhesion. You can find other methods for safe assembly in our assembly instructions .
WERZALIT interior window sills are easy to clean and can be cleaned with standard household cleaning agents. The use of abrasives is not recommended.
Interior window sills from WERZALIT meet the requirements of the DGNB certification grid, which is necessary for applying for the QNG quality seal and thus also for providing proof of eligibility for federal funding. The corresponding declarations of conformity are available in the download area and serve as direct proof for building owners.
