Display packaging - universally and internationally applicable

The S2 400×600 pallet from Werzalit made of the wood-polypropylene composite “S2” has been specially developed for displays for advertising and promotional purposes at the point of sale.

The special feature of the S2 400×600 pallet is its universal and convenient use. Manufactured using the injection molding process, 14 slots ensure that cardboard flaps for different displays can be anchored in the pallet without any problems. Previously, various display pallets had to be used for different designs and for different positions of the anchoring straps. If the customer previously needed two or three different display pallets, he now has the option of using all displays with just one S2 pallet.
Lower costs for transport and storage are guaranteed by a stacking capacity of 400 S2 pallets per euro pallet.

Advantages through material properties

Due to the rigidity that is twice as high as that of PE – and therefore less deflection – the flaps of the display packaging are less stressed on the S2 pallet. The special design of the pallet surface also prevents the goods from slipping.

Further advantages of the pallet result from the special attributes of the material S2: The pallets are absolutely weatherproof, waterproof and easy to clean. Therefore, they are also ideally suited for use outdoors, in damp rooms, in cold stores – wherever they are exposed to extreme moisture loads. There is no abrasion of dust, chips or wood splinters. Due to the excellent material properties, no treatment according to the “international guidelines for phytosanitary measures IPPC-ISPM15” is necessary. The S2 pallets are therefore suitable for export to countries that require conventional pallets to be handled.
